This is our favorite style of protective gear for backyard and sideline beekeepers. The fencing-style veil is zippered to the jacket and a velcro closure offers complete protection while allowing removal of the veil. Hood and jacket are made from breathable 100% cotton. Elastic at the waistband and wrists keeps curious bees from crawling where you don't want them.
Jackets have a very roomy cut. Most people find they fit in one size smaller than they usually buy. Extra small fits petite women and grown children; the kid's medium is right for average sized kids around ten years old.
