Garam Masala Honey Roasted Salmon (or Pork)
[Serves 4]
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs. Salmon Fillet (or Pork Tenderloin)
- 3 TBS Garam Masala Honey (click this link)*
- 1/2 tsp salt (preferably kosher salt)
Method:
- Rub honey all over with Garam Masala honey, sprinkle with salt and marinate, refrigerated, for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Roast salmon for about 20-25 minutes to an internal temperature of 130°, pork for about 30-45 minutes to an internal temperature of 165°. Remove from oven and let rest for about five minutes before serving
Serving suggestions: accompany with rice and roasted squash; pairs beautifully with Honig Sauvignon Blanc or Les Abeilles Côtes du Rhone rouge
*(Garam Masala is an Indian spice blend that includes: Coriander, Red Chile, Clove, Cinnamon, Curry Leaves, Dry Mango, Bay Leaves, Cumin, Fennel, Salt, Black Pepper, and Star Anise; it is available at Indian grocery stores or specialty food markets.)
